The EIB actuator is connected to two blind outputs by means of plug-in connectors. It can be mounted in a different location and combines the advantages of the EIB with the advantages of the pluggable electrical installation. In addition to the usual functions (opening and closing the blinds, slat adjustment), the actuator also permits the blind to be positioned. The actuator controls the outputs to achieve the desired position and slat angle after the blind has been positioned in the desired position (for reference). Status objects can be used to query the position and slat angle or can be sent independently. The user-friendly interface of the actuator permits the position to be stored or queried. It also has different blocking functions. The actuator can be used to control blind drives with mechanical or electronic limit switches.
